DAUPHIN, MB - Dauphin Kings defenceman Riley Shamray is in the mix for the MJHL's Top Defenceman Award, known as the Brian Kozak Memorial Trophy.
The Manitoba Junior Hockey League announced their award nominations Monday morning. Find ALL THE NOMINATIONS HERE.
Shamray, who is from Oak River, MB, has treated the fans to 42 points so far this season and is coming off one of his best weeks of the season where he put up two goals and three assists.
The MJHL is expected to name their league All Stars later this week.
The Dauphin Kings return to action on Wednesday when they visit the Waywayseecappo Wolverines at 7:30pm.
The next Kings home game comes on Tuesday February 26th when Dauphin entertains OCN at Credit Union Place.
