The Dauphin Kings battled hard on Tuesday in a loss against the Neepawa Titans. Tonight, they will look for more of the same with the addition of some offence.

The Kings are back in action at Credit Union Place on National Truth & Reconciliation Day as they host the Winnipeg Blues. The Kings enter the game at 2-3-1 while the Blues are 3-1.

The Blues are one of the hottest teams in the league as they’ve won three straight games coming into the contest after dropping their first game of the season. Dauphin; meanwhile, has lost four of their last five games.

Dauphin’s biggest part of their game that has held them back is their offence. With just 12 goals in six games, they have scored the third-fewest goals in the league. Only the Freeze and Steelers have scored less but they both have two games in hand.

Dauphin’s -9 differential is the worst in the league. There is a lot of skill on this year’s roster and with great coaching on board, the Kings will continue to improve and they have that opportunity on Friday.

The Blues have scored 15 times this season but their power play hasn’t helped much, going 2-for-18 for 11.1%. The Kings are 13.6%. You can catch the game on HockeyTV.
