The Kings are coming off that 2-0 loss to the Winkler Flyers on Tuesday.
There'll be lots going on once again at the rink tonight. The game is sponsored by Dean Cooley GM. The Home Hardware Football Toss goes in the first intermission with the pot starting at almost $200.00.

TONIGHT'S MATCHUP
KINGS (4-1-0-0)
The Kings will try for a much better start in tonight's game and set the tone early. Something they failed to do in Tuesday's let down game.
As mentioned it's game three of a five game home stand. The Kings will not see action again until Saturday and Sunday next week when they close out the stretch against the Winnipeg Blues and Waywayseecappo Wolverines.
No goals for or against Tuesday against the Winkler Flyers has the Kings Power Play sitting 5th in the MJHL at 23.5% while their Penalty Kill rests in 5th as well at 84.6%.
Some statistics adjustments were made over the past couple of days and with that Defenceman Ty Pratte now leads the Kings in points with five. All of those are assists.

TERRIERS (1-3-0-0)
Much like the Winkler Flyers the Portage Terriers probably aren't satisfied with the way their season has started. An uncharacteristic 1-3-0-0 will have the group not desperate for a win, but hungry for one.
This game tonight is the start of three straight on the road for Portage. They'll play every other night for the next three games before returning home next Friday.
The Terriers' Special Teams are 9th in the MJHL on the Penalty Kill at 75% while their Power Play is 10th at 10%.
Decker Mujcin (3G), Cameron Bullinger (1G, 2A), Adler Johnston (1G,2A) & Nolan Nenow (3A) all lead the Terriers in points with three.
