It’s Ladies Night at Credit Union Place. As the Dauphin Kings return home for a game against the Virden Oil Capitals, it’s set to be a special night at the rink.

More than 15 vendors will be setup on the concourse and a great crowd is expected. The vendors open at 6:45 and Emma Peterson will also be performing a free live concert.

On the ice, the Kings will look to bounce back after a tough loss one night ago in which they led 3-0, 4-3 and 5-4. Ultimately, it was the Oil Capitals that stole two points on their home ice.

Despite the loss, Dauphin did continue with their hot offensive play. They have 32 goals in their last seven games; however, they have given up 33.

While Dauphin only gained a point on Friday, Dauphin is now tied for third in the West Division, and they only remain two points back of Virden who is in second place. OCN; meanwhile, is five points clear as they won their 10th game of the season last night in Winkler.

Dauphin has been very good on home ice this season as they’ve won four of five games. Virden is 3-2 on the road this season.

Tonight’s game is the second of six meetings between the two clubs.
