Kings remain in Top 20

The Dauphin Kings are climbing in the Canadian Junior Hockey League’s Top 20 Rankings.

One week after they were ranked 19th, Dauphin is now ranked 14th in Canada.

This after the team completed their fifth-weekend sweep of the season. The team won 2-1 in a shootout on Saturday night. Dauphin is tied for second in the league, just one point behind the Steinbach Pistons who dropped both of their games this past weekend; however, they did earn a point in an overtime loss on Saturday.

Next up for Dauphin is another home-and-home against the Stampeders, starting on Friday at the Centennial.

After this weekend, Dauphin will take on the top two teams in the East Division at the league’s showcase next week at Stride Place in Portage la Prairie.
