DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings will look to climb the standings when they return from Christmas break in early January.

The Kings have a record of 18-16-4 on the season with 22 games left in their campaign. They currently sit 6th in the standings.

Schedule wise the Kings hit the road for their first weekend of 2019. They'll visit the Winkler Flyers Friday January 4th and then the Steinbach Pistons on January 5th. Then Dauphin is in OCN on Tuesday January 8th before returning to Credit Union Place to battle the Portage Terriers Friday January 11th, sponsored by RBC!

Fans will have lots to look forward to in 2019 when it comes to the Kings. Out of those 22 contests 13 of them are at Credit Union Place. That includes seven of the team's last nine games down the stretch.

Other things on the horizon include the Kings Comedy Night presented by Twin Motors in Dauphin. This year Comedy Night features TWO comedians Dan Verville & Jordan Wellwood! That, along with all the other great items that make the night including a top end roast beef supper along with numerous games and auction items! The evening kicks off at 5:30pm. This year tickets are $70.00 or you can get a table of eight for just $525.00, buying a table ensures that you'll be able to sit with friends. It's also a savings of $5.00 a ticket! After the Twin Motors Comedy Night it's Ruff's Furniture's Ukrainian Night a week later. Ukrainian Night happens on Saturday January 26th at Credit Union Place when the Kings face the Portage Terriers. Game time is slated for 7:30pm!

The Kings are also pleased to announce they will be bringing back their annual Awards Banquet. The Awards Banquet will take place on Sunday March 3rd with the venue and time to be determined.

Tickets for the Awards Banquet will go on sale in February!
