Kings Par 3 THIS SATURDAY

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings Par 3 Extravaganza happens this Saturday (September 13th) at the Gilbert Plains Country Club.

There are a couple team spots remaining!

Check in & registration on Saturday is 9:00am with the Shotgun Start slated for 10:00am!

The Kings Par 3 Extravaganza is an important fundraiser for the hockey club which happens every summer. This summer it's taking place in September rather than in June like in years past.

"We moved the event to September to avoid conflicts with other tournaments in our area and it allows us to involve the players of the team this time around" says Director of Business Operations Christian Laughland. "We are also walking back the price to enter this year's tournament and bringing it back to the original $150.00 per player ($600.00 per team)."

The tournament features prizes on every hole with hole-in-one prizes along with closest to the pin. There will also be the Parkland Source for Sports Putt for $5000, the Canadian Tire Accurate Drive Competition and Action Realty Putting Green Contest. After the round golfers will be treated to a meal from the Gilbert Plains Country Club.

"We also plan on adding some new prizes this year" says Laughland. "We have a lot of ladies that participate in our tournament, so this year we are going to introduce some ladies specific Closest to the Pin prizes, which will be added to the four original Par 3s at the Gilbert Plains Country Club (4, 9, 14, & 17). They will be clearly marked by the green at each hole" added Laughland.

Teams can register a few ways.

1. Call the Dauphin Kings at 204-622-5461 with your team and credit card information. If no answer just leave a message and we'll get back to you!

2. Download the REGISTRATION FORM, fill it out and email it to the Dauphin Kings. Email: Marketing@DauphinKings.com

3. Register at the Gilbert Plains Country Club Pro Shop. Pick up your form at the Pro Shop, fill it out and leave it with staff. They'll make sure your team is entered! Forms are checked daily!
