DAUPHIN, MB - The weather was great and the golf was fantastic as the Dauphin Kings held their annual Par 3 Extravaganza Fundraiser on Saturday September 13th at the Gilbert Plains Country Club.
In the end it was the team of Boston Karlson, Dean Murray, Cliff Lambkin and Darvis Ryden finishing in first place. They shot a 7-under 47 on the day. Edging out three other teams that shot 48.
The Kings would like to thank all their amazing sponsors and supporters for another successful event that helps raise money for the hockey club!
We'd also like to thank the Gilbert Plains Country Club for hosting us and Mulligan's Restaurant for the fantastic meal which followed the event.
Of course a big thank you to the players as well who were volunteering throughout the course. Players did everything from selling 50/50, hole spotting and working at the Putting Green Contest!
