Another successful Dauphin Kings Par 3 Extravaganza is in the books as the Dauphin Lake Golf Club played host to the event on August 14.
Todd Quinn of Flin Flon was the big winner as he aced the third hole to win $10,000. Quinn said after the round that the tournament was ran extremely well and he’s looking forward to coming back.
“It was tremendous, everything about it, I loved,” said Quinn. “I’m looking forward to next year already.”
Cary Fillion and Dean Bodnar, meanwhile, were a part of the winning team. They teamed up with Kevin Kowerko and Russ Romaniuk to outlast a sold-out field to win the event.
Ryan Vanderheyden, Jeremy Mills, Nathan Fleck, and Mike Lee placed second on a countback while Wayne Heide, Gord Fox, Owen Connolly, and Frank Lang finished third.
18 closest to the hole prizes of $150 each were also given out.

Todd Quinn also won the putting contest and Curt Mosionier took home the 50/50 prize.
Kim Fillion won most accurate drive to 150 yards, Stacy Gill was closest to 200 yards, and Scott Campbell was closest to 250 yards.
