TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (27-11-1-0) - 1st in West
It's game 40 of the regular season for the Dauphin Kings. The club will look to get closer to clinching a playoff spot tonight and closer to securing first place in the MJHL's West Division. Right now the Kings have two games in hand on the Northern Manitoba Blizzard and lead them by six points.
The Kings are actually not far off from clinching a playoff berth. Entering tonight Dauphin is 20 points up on the 5th place Waywayseecappo Wolverines. Wayway has just 15 games left in their season. If things were to go the way of the Kings over the next handful of games they could have a playoff spot clinched by the end of next weekend.
Dauphin's Special Teams will look to improve in tonight's game. Their Power Play didn't score on Saturday and is sitting at 25% while their Penalty Kill is at 80.7%.
Cayden Glover leads the Kings in points with 33 goals and 19 assists but remains out with an upper body injury. Naaman Hofer is second on the team in points with five goals and 39 assists for 44.

The Selkirk Steelers are coming off a make up game in The Pas last night with the Northern Manitoba Blizzard. Selkirk dropped the contest 5-2 and have lost two straight coming into tonight's tilt. They've been outscored 10-3 in those two games.
Selkirk currently sits on the outside looking in on the post season picture in the East Division. Despite a strong start to the season the Steelers are now eight points behind Niverville for the final playoff spot.
Special Teams for Selkirk has them 8th in the MJHL on the Power Play at 20.5% while their Penalty Kill is 7th at 80.6%.
Luke McCarthy (20G, 27A) leads the Steelers in points with 47.
