Kings, Oil Capitals Swap Players

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings and Virden Oil Capitals made a trade on the eve of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League season.

The deal sees the Kings sending D-man Darren Gisti (99) to Virden in exchange for forward McCullough Park (99).

Last season Park spent a couple games with the Oil Capitals, but most of his season was with the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League's Southwest Cougars. In 41 games the Deloraine, MB product put up 17 goals and 18 assists for 35 points, which was third on the club in scoring.

"McCullough has got a lot of tools that will add an immediate impact to our lineup. He has excellent speed and is a skilled player that plays a heavy game" says Kings Head Coach and General Manager Marc Berry.

The Kings would like to thank Darren Gisti for his time spent with the club over the last season and wish him all the best.

The Kings would like to welcome MCCullough Park and his family to the City of Sunshine!
