Kings Name Leadership Group

DAUPHIN, MB - Following a busy weekend the Dauphin Kings have nailed down their leadership group for the 2018-19 season.

Riley Shamray and Brendan Arnold will share the 'C' for the Kings this season while George King and Wayde Johannesson will be assistants.

Shamray and Arnold will rotate throughout the year, with one being captain on the road while another is the captain on home ice. When not captain, both of the players will be an assistant captain to round out the club's three 'A's' each night.

Brendan Arnold has been with the Kings since the 2016-17 season and has been a key leader both on and off the ice since coming to the team.

Riley Shamray has been with the Kings since 2016-17 as well after being acquired in a trade with Waywayseecappo. The Oak River product is another player who leads on and off the ice.

George King of Calgary is one of the Kings hardest working players both on and off the ice. King comes to Dauphin from OCN last season where he accumulated 41 goals and 29 assists in 76 regular season games with the Blizzard.

Wayde Johannesson joins the Kings after helping the Nipawin Hawks win the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League title last season. Johannesson hails from Arnes, MB!
