TONIGHT'S MATCHUP

KINGS (11-6-1-0)

Although they had success in Neepawa Friday the Kings will hunt for more tonight as the MJHL's West Division remains tighter than it has ever been this season when it comes to first place. Coming into the contest the Kings are three points up on Virden for top spot. The Oil Capitals have two games in hand and are in Portage tonight.

This is the second to last game in what has been a road heavy schedule for the Kings as of late. They'll conclude the stretch on Wednesday when they visit the Swan Valley Stampeders.

Dauphin got a goal in two chances on the Power Play Friday night. Pushing them up to 24.6% and second in the MJHL. On the Penalty Kill the Kings went 3 for 4 in Neepawa. They're now at 80.6%, seventh in the league.

Havryil Simchuk rides a four game point streak (2G, 2A) coming into the game tonight. He leads the Kings in points with 20 (9G, 11A).

STEELERS (14-7-1-0)

Selkirk took to the ice last night as well and got back in the win column too. Although it was not looking good early in their game with the Northern Manitoba Blizzard. After falling behind 3-0 the Steelers came back to win 7-4 on home ice.

Before yesterday's win the games had not been too kind to the Steelers. They had dropped five of their last six. Now, like the Kings, they'll try to build off their latest victory on Friday night. This is game three of a four game home stand for the Steelers.

Selkirk's Special Teams remain solid. They're first in the MJHL on the Power Play at 25.6% and fifth at 82.7% on the Penalty Kill.

Wyatt Witham (7G, 17A) leads his team in points with 24.
