DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings couldn't get anything going offensively in a 5-1 loss to the Virden Oil Capitals Friday night at Credit Union Place.

Virden scored goals in the first (2) and second (3) and cruised to the win.

Havryil Simchuk (16) picked up Dauphin's lone goal late in the third period.

The Kings were out shot 42-34 with Justin Perreault taking the loss in net.

Power Plays finished with the Kings going 0 for 1 while Virden was 1 for 5.

The Kings return to play on Sunday when they welcome the Waywayseecappo Wolverines to Credit Union Place for Tractor Lotto Night! Game time is 4:00pm and it's sponsored by Reit Syd Equipment in Dauphin.
