The Dauphin Kings continues their schedule against East Division teams on Friday when they make their way to Selkirk.

Friday’s opponent is the Steelers as the two teams kick off a weekend home-and-home with Saturday’s rematch returning to Credit Union Place.

Dauphin is coming off a weekend split against the Steinbach Pistons while the Steelers are the only team in the league that hasn’t won a game yet as they’re 0-6-1-1.

Dauphin’s offence has caught fire as of late as they’ve scored 17 times in their last four games, Selkirk has scored just 19 times all year in eight games.

Both teams have struggled heavily on special teams to start the season as both Dauphin and Selkirk are near the bottom of the league on the power play and on the penalty kill. Dauphin does have a slight edge on the man advantage while the Steelers have a slight advantage on the penalty kill.

You can listen to Friday’s game on 730CKDM with Darnell Duff and you can also watch the game on HockeyTV.
