DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings will try to extend their MJHL Final series with the Northern Manitoba Blizzard tonight when they host game five of the best-of-seven set.
It's the first time this season the Kings are facing elimination as the club did not have their backs against at any previous times during this post season. There were, however, times when Dauphin needed to get a win to avoid further adversity. Game six against Portage and game five against Waywayseecapo were key victories in Dauphin's playoff run. Tonight they will face their toughest challenge yet.
TICKET OFFICE IS OPEN FROM 10:00AM TO GAME TIME (7:30pm)!
In tonight's first intermission the M&M Food Market Express Puck Toss returns with the pot beginning at $550.00! Don't forget to grab your FREE noisemaker when you come into the building! Don't like all the noise? Free ear plugs will be available as well.
Puck drop is at 7:30pm!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

After losing game four in The Pas the Kings will try to win their first game at Credit Union Place tonight since game six of their second round series with the Portage Terriers.
If the Kings are to extend the series they will need their 20 year old players and leadership to step up in game five and lead the way.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Special Teams weren't really a factor in Friday's game until late, but the game at that point was out of reach for the Kings. Dauphin ended the contest 0 for 2 while Northern Manitoba was 1 for 9.
Both teams are likely to get limited man advantage opportunities in game five, so the Dauphin Kings will need to take advantage of any chances they get throughout the affair.
LEADING SCORERS
Havryil Simchuk opened the scoring for the Kings Friday in the first period. The first was Dauphin's best in The Pas on Friday evening. Simchuk (5G, 7A) now leads the Kings in points entering tonight's contest.
On the other side Tyler Dahms (3G, 11A) is the leading scorer for Northern Manitoba with 14 points. He leads all players in the MJHL Playoffs with that total.
