TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
The journey shifts from Dauphin to Waywayseecappo tonight, a place where the Kings won one of three games during the regular season. The lone victory was the most recent game in Wayway for Dauphin, a 4-3 OT decision back on March 6th.
Overall the Wolverines finished with a solid record on home ice during the regular season. They were 18-9-2-0 while the Kings ended the campaign going 16-12-1-0 as they visitors. But obviously the playoffs are a whole different game and has been the case in the past. The Kings can expect a very exciting atmosphere Sunday night.

SPECIAL TEAMS
Lots happened on Special Teams Friday night in Dauphin. A significant change after game one of last year's series. In 2025 both teams went 0 for 4 on opening night. This time both clubs had two goals on the man advantage. Waywayseecappo was 2 for 5 while Dauphin ended 2 for 4. So both teams will hope for a stronger effort on the Penalty Kill tonight while continuing their solid play on the Power Play.
Waywayseecappo is a much different team on home ice when it comes to overall play and it will be key for the Kings to match the Wolverines' intensity, especially in the opening period.
LEADING SCORERS
Dauphin's depth showed well even though they came up short in game one on Friday. Especially in the third period the Kings were able to roll lines and continue their pressure in the offensive zone. Ethan Stewart led the way for Dauphin with a goal and two assists while Ty Pratte picked up a goal and an assist.
Waywayseecappo, meanwhile, saw three players pick upĀ multiple points. Sebastien Hicks (1G, 1A), Kurt Rookes (1G, 1A) & Ryley Cyca (2A) all had two points.
