TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

The Kings attempt to move on to the second round this evening and if they do they will get almost a week off from game action as round two in the MJHL Playoffs isn't expected to begin until next Friday.

If the Wolverines win this evening the series will return to Waywayseecappo on Monday for game six. If a game seven is needed the two teams will lock up at Credit Union Place on Wednesday.

For the first time this series the top line of Gavin Nemis, Ethan Williment and Cayden Glover was held off the scoresheet. Dauphin's second line of Gabriel Bugeaud, Havryil Simchuk & Ethan Stewart had a solid evening on Thursday but it wasn't enough in the 5-3 loss.

Despite losing the Kings till played well on Thursday, they just failed to get some bounces and a few breakdowns ultimately costed them.

With three game winning goals Gavin Nemis continues to be the Kings leading scorer coming into this evening's affair. Nemis has five points. Cayden Glover (2G, 3A) is tie with Nemis in points with five as well. Dauphin's top line was not a major factor in Thursday's tilt, they'll look to be tonight. The Kings have seven players with at least three points.
