Last night Dauphin had the lead twice but couldn't finish the job in a 5-3 loss to the Selkirk Steelers. The Kings took down the Freeze on Saturday in Dauphin last week 9-4 and will look for more of the same tonight in Winnipeg.
Opening face off tonight is slated for 7:30pm!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (7-3-0-0)
The Kings didn't play a bad game on Friday night, they just couldn't find a way to pull away from the Selkirk Steelers and when they did fall behind they weren't able to find the equalizer in the third period.
Now Dauphin will hope to reset and pick up two points against a Winnipeg Freeze team that continues to search for their first win of the regular season.
The Kings Power Play slipped 0.1% after going 1 for 4 in Selkirk. It's now at 25.6% which is 5th overall. Their Penalty Kill bumped up to 86.1% and is now sitting 3rd in the MJHL.
Cayden Glover leads the MJHL in goals with 10 and his team in points with 12 points.

FREEZE (0-7-0-1)
As mentioned, the Winnipeg Freeze are still in search of their first win of the MJHL season and will be well rested heading into tonight's game with the Kings. The Freeze have not played since Sunday's 4-1 loss at the hands of the Norman Blizzard.
This is Winnipeg's fourth home game of the season and they'll set out on the road for three straight after tonight's affair.
Special Teams reflect the struggles the Freeze have had early on this season. Their Power Play is at 6.9% (13th) while their Penalty Kill is at 70.4% (12th).
Liam Goertzen has three goals and six assists through eight games this season. He leads the Freeze in points with nine.
