DAUPHIN, MB - With one win under their belt the Dauphin Kings will try to take a 2-0 advantage on the Wolverines tonight when they visit Waywayseecappo for game two of their first round MJHL playoff series.
For the most part the Kings were very good in Friday's 4-1 win to kick off the series and a victory this evening will put them in the drivers seat.
Opening face off from the Waywayseecappo Arena is 7:30pm!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

The journey shifts from Dauphin to Waywayseecappo tonight, a place where the Kings won two of three games during the regular season.
Dauphin's lone blemish in Wayway was a 4-2 defeat in November. Their wins were 5-4 and 3-2. The 3-2 decision came in the last week of the season as was the contest that saw the Kings clinch top spot in the West Division.
Overall the 4th place Wolverines finished with a 12-15-2-0 record on home ice this season. Dauphin, meanwhile, was 18-9-1-1 as the road team. But obviously the playoffs are a whole different game and as has been the case in the past the Kings can expect a very exciting atmosphere Sunday night.

SPECIAL TEAMS
There's not much to report on the Special Teams side of things depending at how you look at it. Both teams were 0 for 4 on opening night of the MJHL Playoffs. With that said, both teams were very good on the Penalty Kill. Dauphin's Cayden Glover hit the crossbar on one of the Kings' chances which was probably the best opportunity on the night.
Waywayseecappo is a much different team on home ice when it comes to Special Teams. Their Power Play is almost at 25% while their Penalty Kill is almost 85%. Dauphin, meanwhile, had a very good road PK during the regular season, sitting 3rd overall. Their man advantage as the road team was 5th.
LEADING SCORERS
Dauphin's leading scorers during the regular season had some great chances on Friday night. Gavin Nemis scored the game winner and Cayden Glover had a couple opportunities. Ethan Williment leads the team in points coming into this evening after grabbing two assists at Credit Union Place.
Waywayseecappo had just their one goal on Friday. It was scored by Sebastian Stone and assisted by Adam Chipelski.
