DAUPHIN, MB - After a bit of a disappointing road swing through the Winnipeg area two weeks ago the Dauphin Kings will get a chance to redeem themselves when they visit the Freeze and Selkirk Steelers tonight and tomorrow.
Two weeks ago Dauphin fell 3-1 in a disappointing loss to the Freeze in Winnipeg. The night before that game the Kings lost 5-3 to the Steelers in Selkirk.
Just like the last time the Kings come into this stretch on a three game winning streak and are just one point back of Norman for first in the division entering the night. Norman is home to Winkler.
Opening face off in Winnipeg tonight is 7:30pm!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (10-4-0-0)
The Dauphin Kings kick off a busy November tonight when they visit the Freeze. The 11th month of the year sees Dauphin play 11 games, six on the road and five at home. The busy stretch will come in a week when the club opens up a busy stretch on home ice.
Tonight the focus for the Kings is getting the job done in Winnipeg, something they couldn't last time they were in town. Even though the Kings dominated the game and put up 60 shots, they couldn't squeeze out two points.
Coming into the evening Dauphin's Power Play is ranked _)_ in the MJHL at 22.7% while their Penalty Kill remains strong to start the season, it's __ in the league at 86.3%.
After some adjustments in points Naaman Hofer now leads the Kings coming into this weekend with a goal and 16 assists for 17 points.
FREEZE (1-8-1-2)
With that lone win against the Kings in their pocket the Freeze are already at the point of playing for pride this season. Much like the West Division, for the most part, the East Division is already seeing major separation from the top and bottom teams. Coming into tonight the Freeze are already __ points out of a playoff spot.
Winnipeg did hit the ice earlier this week. They dropped a 3-1 decision to the Wolverines in Waywayseecappo. It'll be a busy month of November for the Freeze, they'll spend six of their 11 games on the road.
Special Teams continue to struggle for the Freeze. They 12th in the league on both the Power Play (8.3%) and Penalty Kill (73.6%).
Liam Goertzen (4G, 7A) leads the Freeze in points with 11.
