TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

KINGS (29-13-1-1) - 1st in West

For the second time this week the Kings will look to clinch their birth to the 2025 MJHL Playoffs. It's inevitable the team will do it, but something that will be nice to cross off their list of accomplishments for this season. A Kings win or a Waywayseecappo loss to the Blues in Winnipeg this evening will clinch Dauphin a post season spot in late March.

It's game two of a four game home stand for the Kings. A home stand where they play every other night for seven nights. Injuries continue to plague Dauphin but the good news is all of the players currently hurt should be back by the time the playoffs begin.

The Kings didn't score on the Power Play in Wednesday's loss. So their Power Play is at 24% while their Penalty Kill didn't get scored on so it's up to 82%.

Cayden Glover (33G, 19A) remains out with an upper body injury but continues to lead the Kings with points at 52.

TITANS (23-18-2-3) - 3rd in West

Of course the Neepawa Titans are on the same path as the Dauphin Kings when it come s to clinching a playoff spot. They're a little further away from doing that right now but it seems only inevitable they will clinch a spot in the next few weeks. Neepawa is 14 points clear of Waywayseecappo who sit on the outside looking in. The Titans are also nine points ahead of Virden who are fourth.

Neepawa will host the Dauphin Kings twice over the next month. Seven of their last 11 games will be on home ice. They'll also battle Virden in a key home-and-home set beginning tomorrow.

The Titans have decent Special Teams. Their Power Play is at 22.2% while their Penalty Kill is sitting at 78.3%.

Tim Tychonick (15G, 24A) leads the Titans in scoring with 39 points.
