TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (14-5-1-0)
The Dauphin Kings will look for a more complete effort when they entertain Swan Valley tonight. Although the game winner on Friday was a bit of a tough bounce on goalie Cole Sheffield the Kings did have stretches where they took their foot of the gas.
As mentioned this will be the last Kings home game for a little bit. In fact four of their next five games will be on the road tonight. They'll close out November with games in Wayway, Portage and Virden.
Dauphin's Special Teams were a bright spot in the team's loss to Neepawa on Friday. Now their Power Play is ranked 3rd in the MJHL at 25.8% while their Penalty Kill is now tied for first overall with Niverville at 87.5%.
Naaman Hofer (3G, 21A) had a goal in Friday's loss and now leads the Kings in points with 24.
STAMPEDERS (2-15-2-1)
If you think the Dauphin Kings had a rough night on Friday the Swan Valley Stampeders would probably beg to differ. The Stamps were in Virden last night where they were ripped 9-3 by the Oil Capitals.
Swan Valley's schedule is like the Kings' this week. It started with that game Wednesday afternoon in Swan River and will conclude tonight in Dauphin, three games in four nights. The difference for the Stampeders is more travel.
Swan's Special Teams have their Power Play at 18.3% which is 9th in the MJHL. Their Penalty Kill remains at the bottom of the league at 72%.
Landen Gulutzan (8G, 15A) is atop the Stampeders in points with 23.
