DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings will look to keep rolling towards the Christmas break tonight when they welcome the Waywayseecappo Wolverines to Credit Union Place tonight at 7:30pm!

Dauphin is riding a five game winning streak and a win this evening would put them in sole possession of first place in the MJHL with Steinbach off until Friday.

It's also your last chance to get a Kings Tractor Lotto Ticket at tonight's game AND it's TV Tuesday sponsored by Fusion Credit Union. Everyone that buys a 50/50 ticket will be entered into the draw for an HDTV!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

KINGS (20-6-1-0)

It's the start of back-to-back games for the Dauphin Kings tonight when they hook up with Waywayseecappo. Dauphin will go on the road tomorrow when they visit the Norman Blizzard for the second time in a week.

The Kings will also look to respond to one of their most disappointing efforts earlier this season when they lost to the Wolverines in Waywayseecappo in late November. It was a weak effort all around from the club that resulted in a 4-2 loss.

Dauphin's Penalty Kill was excellent in their 5-2 win over Steinbach on Saturday and comes into tonight 2nd in the league at 85.2%. On the Power Play side the Kings are 4th overall at 25.2%.

Cayden Glover (22G, 10A) still leads the Kings in points coming into this evening with 32 but Naaman Hofer (4G, 27A) is right behind him with 31.

WOLVERINES (9-15-2-0)

A small two game losing skid for the Wolverines as they enter tonight's game 5th in the MJHL's West Division. Wayway is two points back of the Virden Oil Capitals for 4th with a game in hand, so this is a big game for the Wolverines this evening as they look to climb back into the playoff picture.

The Wolverines have a busy stretch before they hit the Christmas break. Five games including tonight with three of them on the road. That includes a big game against Neepawa this Friday.

Special Teams have the Wolverines ranked 11th in the MJHL on the Power Play (14.7%) and 7th on the Penalty Kill (81.4%).

Jaxon Grosdidier (8G, 10A) is the top scorer on the Wolverines coming into tonight. He leads them with 18.
