DAUPHIN, MB - Out of town fans and scouts may have noticed some changes over the past few weeks with Dauphin Kings HockeyTV broadcasts, they're now in high definition!
The Kings recently upgraded their video and encoder equipment to bring HD broadcasts to fans all around the world.
"This was something very key that we've been working on since the beginning of the summer" says Kings Director of Marketing & Media Relations Christian Laughland.
"The way the world is going is to HD. It's almost at the point where it's unacceptable not to have hockey broadcasts at this level in high def. So we made the move for changes in the off season and now we're happy to have everything working well with some of our big home games approaching" adds Laughland.
"We also know there are scouts across North America and the World that want to watch our games and our players to see what they bring to the table. Now they can do that and see things much clearer on their computers, TVs, tablets and phones."
The Kings have also reached an agreement with the local Westman Communications Group Chanel in Dauphin to broadcast the games in the following days after they are played live.
