The Dauphin Kings make their second trip of the season to the Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre on Tuesday night to meet the OCN Blizzard.

The last time the two teams met, Anthony Tudino opened the scoring in the game but OCN got the last punch in and ultimately won the contest, 8-4. Since that game, Tudino is no longer with the organization and the Kings have found some mojo.

Two more important points are up for grabs in this West Division clash. OCN enters the game with 23 points as they lead the division while the Kings are seven points back. Dauphin earned three of a possible four points over the weekend while OCN earned four of a possible six on a three-game in three-night road trip.

OCN’s 63 goals are tied for the most in the league while Dauphin enters the contest having scored just 46 but don’t let that fool you as the Kings have been excellent offensively as of late. After struggling out of the gate to find the back of the net, they have scored 34 times in their last eight games.

The Blizzard have been very solid on special teams this year. Their power play is at 24.1% while the team’s penalty kill sits at 84.7%, both near the top of the league. Dauphin; meanwhile, will look to get their man advantage going as they have just four goals on their last 42 chances. The team’s penalty kill is coming off a great game as they went 4-for-4 against Virden on Saturday in their 2-1 win.
