
DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings and Terriers continue their best-of-seven semi final series tonight when they face off for game three in Portage.
The Kings enter the contest up 2-0 and will try to take a big 3-0 advantage by the end of the night. It won't be easy however. The last time the Terriers lost three straight games was back in late November.
Opening face off this evening is slated for 7:30pm. Game four will be in Dauphin on Friday at 7:30pm. Tickets for that tilt will go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday) at 12:00pm!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP

Game two featured a crowd of almost 900 people on a Sunday and also saw Dauphin's Power Play come alive.
In four attempts the Kings' man advantage scored three times and powered them to victory. Dauphin had four goals in the second period after the Terriers had taken a 1-0 lead from the first period.
After tonight the series takes a little break with game four not until Friday in Dauphin, but after the schedule intensifies as the teams could possibly play two games in two nights.

SPECIAL TEAMS
As mentioned the Kings Special Teams were very good in Sunday's 4-2 win over the Terriers. Suddenly Dauphin's man advantage is now up to 25% overall and 26.7% at Credit Union Place. On the road the Kings are at 22.2%. Coming into this series the Kings' Power Play was just over 10%. On the Penalty Kill is Dauphin is now at 82.1%. On the road they're a strong 84.62%.
On the other side of the coin the Portage Terriers scored once in four Power Play attempts on Sunday. They're now at 13.9% overall while their Penalty Kill sits at 87.5%, very good at home (94.7%) but not so much as the away team (76.9%).
LEADING SCORERS
Four of the top five scorers in the MJHL Playoffs are now Dauphin Kings. Cayden Glover (3G, 5A) is tied with Northern Manitoba's Tyler Dahms (1G, 7A) with eight points. After that there are three Kings with seven points and they are Gabriel Bugeaud (3G, 4A), Matthew Thomas (3G, 4A) and Havryil Simchuk (2G, 5A). Dauphin has seven players with at least five points through seven games. All but three players on the Kings have recorded a point so far in these playoffs.
For the Portage Terriers Cameron Bullinger continues to lead the way. The forward is still looking for his first post season goal but has seven assists coming into tonight.
