Kings head to Blizz Country

The Dauphin Kings are coming off a solid win against the Swan Valley Stampeders.

That was last Wednesday and now six days later, the team is back on the ice as they head up north tonight to play the OCN Blizzard.

The Blizzard opened the season series with an 8-4 win, but Marko Belak dazzled in the team’s rematch in a 2-1 win for Dauphin. Dauphin enters tonight in third in the West with 43 points while OCN is just one back of that. Waywayseecappo leads the division with 47 points.

Including tonight, Dauphin plays five games the remainder of this month, three of which come against OCN while the team also plays the Wolverines twice.

Dauphin has found a way to score in piles as of late with 37 goals since December 7. Tonight’s game is Dauphin’s final at the Gordon Lathlin Memorial Centre, as Dauphin will host the remaining three games against the Blizzard in Dauphin.

You can hear Tuesday’s game on 730CKDM with Darnell Duff or watch on HockeyTV.
