DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings get a quick opportunity to respond to a disappointing effort on Tuesday when they visit the Norman Blizzard tonight at 7:00pm.
Dauphin will look to bounce back following that disappointing 7-5 loss to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines Tuesday night at Credit Union Place.
This is the second meeting in a week between Dauphin and Norman and they're slated to meet again before heading into the Christmas break.

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (20-7-1-0)
Just three games remain for the Dauphin Kings before they hit the Christmas break. Two of the contests are on the road and they're both in The Pas as the Kings have the opportunity to pull further away from the Blizzard but they will need a strong effort tonight if they're to pick up two points.
After the break the Kings will welcome Norman to Credit Union Place three times. One in January, February and March.
Dauphin's Special Teams were not very good in Tuesday loss against Waywayseecappo, especially on the Penalty Kill side. They were 1 for 3 on the Penalty Kill and 1 for 2 on the Power Play. Now they're 3rd in the MJHL on the man advantage (25.6%) and 4th on the PK (83.9%).
Cayden Glover (23G, 11A) had a goal and assist on Tuesday and continues to lead Dauphin in points with 34.

BLIZZARD (16-12-0-1)
Tonight marks the start of a four game home stand for the Northern Manitoba Blizzard. Norman is going to be much busier than the Dauphin Kings over the next two weeks. They'll play four games between now and next Tuesday and then conclude their 2024 schedule in Neepawa next Friday and Saturday.
When all is said and done over the next couple weeks the Blizzard will have played four more games than the Kings.
Special Teams for Norman have them 6th in the MJHL on the Power Play (20.5%) and 11th overall on the Penalty Kill (72.6%).
Miguel Bouvier (16G, 17A) leads the Blizzard in points coming into this evening with 33.
