Kings Get To 16

The Dauphin Kings are the third team in the West Division to get to 16 wins on the season.

Opening their weekend in Winnipeg, the Kings took care of business in a 4-1 win against the Freeze. It was Dauphin’s second straight win and they’re now 16-12-2 on the campaign.

Logan Walker would score Dauphin’s first goal in the game, but Winnipeg would respond with a goal from Darik Feasey as it was 1-1 after 20 minutes.

Dauphin would take over from that point. Mason Smith scored the game-winner with just about nine minutes left in the second. Then Jayden Harris and Mathew Gough would add goals in the third as Dauphin skated off with two points.

The Kings scored two power play goals and they were a perfect 7-for-7 on the penalty kill.
