Kings’ Gaber Named MJHL Rookie All-Star

DAUPHIN, MB – Dauphin Kings forward and Parkland product Riese Gaber has been named to the Manitoba Junior Hockey League’s Rookie All-Star Team. 

Gaber, who hails from just down the highway in Gilbert Plains, has had a successful season even though he’s played in just 38 contests. In those 38 games Gaber has 11 goals and 19 assists which adds up to 30 points. He’s fourth on the Kings in scoring and leads the team in points when it comes to rookies. 

The 17 year old was also a finalist for the MJHL’s Rookie of the Year Award (Vince Leah Trophy).
