The World Junior A Challenge takes place in Bonnyville, Alberta this year. The event runs from Sunday December 11th to Saturday December 17th. Six teams take part in the World Junior A Challenge, Canada West, Canada East, Team USA, Russia, Czech Republic and Switzerland.

Team West will look for back-to-back gold medal wins after last year’s group took out Russia (2-1) in the championship contest.
