Kings Fall 5-2 To Blizzard In The Pas

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings will face elimination for the first time this season on Sunday night following a 5-2 loss to NorMan Friday night.

The first period saw the Kings play well and jump out to a 1-0 lead off a goal by Havryil Simchuk (5). Dauphin would take that advantage to the second.

In the middle frame the Kings had chances but the Blizzard would capitalize twice to grab a 2-1 lead.

The third period saw the Blizzard pull away. Scoring three times in the first half of the frame to seal things at 5-2. Cayden Glover (4) had Dauphin's second goal.

Final shots were 39-22 for the Blizzard.

Powers Plays finished with Dauphin at 0 for 2 while NorMan was 1 for 9.

The Kings now face elimination for the first time this season.

Both teams will now regroup and get set for game five of this series. It’ll be in Dauphin Sunday at 7:30pm! Tickets for game five go on sale at 10:00am tomorrow morning until 5:00pm and then back on sale Sunday from 10:00am to game time!
