Kings Fall 5-1 To Pistons

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings gave up the first goal 43 seconds in and couldn't recover in a 5-1 loss to the Steinbach Pistons Friday night.

The Pistons scored two goals in the first and second and one in the third en route to the win. Ash Mitchelmore (5) had the lone Dauphin goal late in the third period.

Shots were in favour of the Pistons 45-33. Bryson Yaschyshyn suffered the loss in net, stopping 40 shots.

Power Plays had the Kings go 0 for 5 while the Pistons were 0 for 2.

Dauphin is now 20-13-1-0 on the season and won't be back on home ice until January 24th when they meet Niverville for Ukrainian Night. Now the Kings play four straight on the road. The stretch begins on Tuesday when they visit the Virden Oil Capitals for a big West Division tilt. The game goes at 7:30pm.
