THE PAS, MB - The Dauphin Kings were flat from start to finish and it cost them in a 3-1 loss to the OCN Blizzard Wednesday night up north.
OCN scored three times before the Kings got on the board, and by the time they did it was too late. Cole DeKoninck (16) had the Kings' lone goal in the affair.
The Kings finished the night 1 for 5 on the man advantage while OCN was 0 for 2.
Matthias Smith suffered the loss between the pipes for Dauphin. He made 37 saves on 40 shots. His team launched 50 shots on the OCN net.
The Kings fall to 18-17-3-2 on the season and will return to play on Sunday when they visit the Virden Oil Capitals. For now the club has the next few days off as the CJHL Trade Deadline closes in on Friday.
