

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings will try to bounce back from an embarrassing effort Friday night in Virden when they host the Northern Manitoba Blizzard for the first time this season tonight at Credit Union Place.
Dauphin dropped that 7-0 loss in Virden last night and come into the game sitting first in the West Division and looking for points to split themselves up from the teams chasing them.
Tonight's game is sponsored by Dauphin's Countryfest so be sure to come out and enjoy some country music along with all sorts of other treats. In the first intermission the Home Hardware Football Toss returns with the pot starting at $225.00! Then in the second intermission it's more from Dauphin's Countryfest.
Game time tonight is 7:30pm!

TONIGHT'S MATCH UP
KINGS (26-11-1-0) - 1st in West
The good news for the Kings is they have a chance to redeem themselves less than 24 hours after their most disappointing loss of the season.
Tonight marks the start of a stretch that will see the Kings play six of their next nine games at Credit Union Place. Dauphin will try to improve on their solid home record which is 13-5-1-0 so far this season.
Special Teams have not been very good for the Kings as of late. They gave up three goals against on the Penalty Kill Friday night in Virden and their PK is now down to 80.3% while their Power Play still remains second at 25.5%.
Cayden Glover enters the game as the Kings leading scorer with 33 goals and 19 assists.


BLIZZARD (23-15-0-1) - 2nd in West
The well rested Northern Manitoba Blizzard play their first game in over a week tonight when they visit the Kings. Norman hasn't played since January 25th and after tonight will begin a season high six game home stand.
Norman is currently second in the West Division but now have the Neepawa Titans nipping at their heals. The two teams are tied for second in the division with 47 points, but the Blizzard have three games in hand.
Norman's Special Teams have them in the middle of the pack in the MJHL. Their Power Play is seventh at 22% while their Penalty Kill is ninth at 77.4%.
Miguel Bouvier has 21 goals and 24 assists and leads the Blizzard with 45 points.
