Kings battle Titans again

The Dauphin Kings will look to make it three straight wins tonight when they hit the road for the second time this season.

The team caps off a weekend home-and-home with the Neepawa Titans at the Yellowhead Centre. Dauphin is coming off a tremendous performance on Friday, when they scored a season-best five goals in a 5-2 win.

After failing to score a powerplay goal in their first two games of the season, Dauphin caught fire on the man advantage on Friday, scoring twice while a man up. At 28.6%, Dauphin has the third best powerplay in the league and the best in the West Division.

Colby Jaquet enters Saturday’s game as the team’s leading scorer after he had three assists on Friday while Luke Morris, Slade Stanick, Kaden Bryant, and Nick Braun all enter with a pair of assists.

Rylan Gudnason leads Neepawa with two points. He showed his frustration for last night’s game late in the contest when he dropped his gloves with Jayden Jubenvill. Nine Titans have one point, including captain Austin Clyne and Jaegar Lapointe.

You can listen to tonight’s game with Darnell Duff on 730CKDM beginning with the Parkland Source for Sports pregame show at 7:15. You can also watch it on HockeyTV.
