Kings Announce 2024 Auto-Protected Players

DAUPHIN, MB - With the Manitoba Junior Hockey League Draft less than a week away the Dauphin Kings, and the rest of the MJHL, have announced their Auto-Protected Players.

For the Kings they are indeed protecting the maximum two players allowed.

First, Dauphin product Hayden Shtykalo is protected by the Kings. The 5'9, 157lb forward spent last year with the Rink Hockey Academy's U17 team. In Winnipeg he put up 19 goals and 14 assists in 30 games.

Second, Dauphin's Quinten Fisk joins the fold. The Parkland Ranger forward snagged nine goals and eight assists, playing in all 44 regular season games for the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League group. Fisk stands at 6'2 and 162lbs.

The Kings organization would like to welcome Hayden, Quinten and their families to our organization.

Next up for the Kings this week is the MJHL's Annual General Meeting which includes scheduling for the upcoming season as well as the MJHL Draft. The Draft happens Sunday morning with first pick on the docket for 10:00am. You can see at what point of the Draft the Kings have selections below.
