DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are making some changes to their board as they move forward into the 2018-19 hockey season.
The Kings held their Annual General Meeting Thursday at the Parkland Rec Complex in Dauphin.
Some of the other highlights from the meeting included the conclusion of the '50 for 50' Campaign which raised over $50,000.00 for the Kings.
With the numbers the Kings see their debt drop below $100,000.00 for the first time since 2012, it's now at $98,000.00.
Last season the club ended up losing roughly $12,000 (Not including the '50 for 50' Campaign).
Director of Marketing & Media Relations, Christian Laughland, presented the crowed with a PowerPoint Presentation which mapped out the 2017-18 season and a look ahead to 2018-19. You can see key numbers on the right!

KINGS BOARD CHANGES
The Dauphin Kings will make a number of board changes heading into the 2018-19 hockey season.
Randy Daley, who has spent numerous seasons with the hockey club, will be stepping down as President & Governor. The Kings would like to thank Randy Daley for his time spent with the organization and the countless hours he put towards the hockey club.
Taking Randy's place in the Governor's position will be Jason Gibbs while Dean Cooley will step in as President.
Another Director stepping down will be Ray Lofgren as the Director of Volunteers. The Kings would like to thank Ray for the amount of time he put into the club over the past few seasons and are looking forward to seeing him back in his seat next season!
Stepping into Ray's spot as Director of Volunteers will be Cam Abrey.
Finally, Sherrie Volk has decided to step down as the Director of Marketing. The Kings would like to thank Sherrie for all her help on both the Game Day and Marketing sides of the hockey club over the last handful of years.
Moving to the Director of Marketing position on the Kings board is Hector Paulhus.
With Cam Abrey sliding to the Director of Volunteers position that means there is a vacancy at the Director of Billets position. That spot will be filled by Ashley Shaw & Lindsey Kyle.
