Kings add skilled defenceman

The Dauphin Kings have added some size to their back end ahead of a busy weekend.

The team has added Klim Georgiev. In the 2019-20 season playing with the Toronto Jr Canadiens in the OJHL, Klim had 24 points — seven of which were goals — in 48 games.

Georgiev practiced on Thursday. Doug Hedley had this to say on adding the 6-foot-4 defenceman.

“He’s a great kid with size and mobility,” said Hedley. “He adds a big piece on our back end.”
