Kings Add Hackl & Ramsey To Mix

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are continuing to prep their hockey club for the upcoming 2020-21 MJHL Season.

On Friday the team is happy to announced they have committed forwards Ben Hackl and Matthew Ramsey. Both players spent last season in the Manitoba U18 AAA Hockey League. Both players were also part of trade last season that saw the Kings send D-man Reece Richmond to the Portage Terriers. Dauphin also received a 6th round pick in this year's MJHL Draft. That pick turned into Skyler Carriere, a D-man from Roblin, MB.

Hackl played his 2019-20 campaign with Kenora where he captained the Thistles and put up 13 goals and 11 assists for 24 points in 30 contests. Hackl also played five games for the SIJHL's Dryden Ice Dogs where he notched a goal and two assists.

The forward from Dryden stands at 6'0 and 190 pounds, he talks talks about what type of player he is, for the fans.

Matthew Ramsey is a Manitoba forward and spent his 2019-20 season with the Southwest Cougars where he fired 18 goals and 30 assists for 48 points in 47 affairs. He also added six points (2G, 4A) in six post season contests.

The Chater product says last season was a good one for himself and the Cougars.
