Kings Add Ferster To Staff

DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings have added Riley Ferster as the club's Strength & Skills Coach.

Ferster is no stranger to both on and off ice training.

"We're very fortunate. I know Riley from my time in Quesnel, BC. He's worked with Brian Kozak for the last three years with Next Level Sports Preparation as far as training kids as a strength coach. He's a very qualified individual and is taking some more courses in the medical field. It should be a really good fit for us" says Kings Head Coach and GM Doug Hedley.

"I'm really looking forward to the opportunity to come in and help players develop and get to the next level, especially after playing the game of hockey for a number of years" says Ferster.

"Once my career ended I got involved in the training aspect of it and I really enjoy it. I've been working at it for about the last 10 years, learning technology and systems and how we can implement it into hockey. We have the technology now where we can assess players on the ice and then take that to the gym and help guys improve off the ice so I'm really looking forward to adding that to the Dauphin Kings" Ferster added.
