When it came to the game Friday night the Dauphin Kings just couldn’t mount a comeback, losing 3-2 to the Virden Oil Capitals. The Kings hit three posts Friday with Virden’s goalie Patrick Zubick playing very well.
Dauphin out shot the Oil Capitals 43-29.
The scorers for the Kings Friday were Daniel Chartrand and Austin Douglas. The two teams will face off again Saturday night in Virden for the back end of the home-and-home series.
