Hrechka, Cecconi Added To Kings

DAUPHIN, MB - With Dauphin Kings Camp expected to get underway next month the club added two more forwards to their fall excursion.

Fans in the City of Sunshine will be familiar with both additions this time around. First is local product Garrett Hrechka. Hrechka spent last season with the Manitoba U18 AAA Parkland Rangers where he was the captain of the squad. Hrechka put up 24 goals and 39 assists for 63 points. That total put him 11th overall in the U18 league.

The other forward the Kings added Wednesday is forward Carson Cecconi. Carson is the brother of Bryson Cecconi who spent the back half of the season with Dauphin in 2019-20. Cecconi, a product of Powell River, BC, had eight points (5G, 3A) in 38 contests with the Fernie Ghostriders (BC's  Kootenay International Junior Hockey League) as a 17 year old.

Kings Head Coach & GM Doug Hedley talks about what both players bring to the table, starting with Hrechka...

Fans can expect more announcements from the Kings and MJHL in the coming days and weeks!
