DAUPHIN, MB – The Dauphin Kings’ staff has been rounded out for the upcoming hockey season. Thursday the club announced that they have hired Trainer Devin Atkin and brought in Assistant Coach Brandon Lockerby.

Kings Trainer Devin Atkin hails from Winnipeg. He graduated in the Spring of 2014 from the University of Winnipeg with Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Applied Health. Devin became a certified Athletic Therapist in 2015. Atkin worked for a number of Manitoba’s provincial football teams as well as Oak Park’s high school hockey team.

Assistant Coach Brandon Lockerby currently works with Dauphin Rec Services as the Assistant General Manager. He played in the WHL for three years with the Brandon Wheat Kings and Edmonton Oil Kings. Lockerby then spent four years with the University of Manitoba Bisons hockey program. Most recently Brandon was an Assistant Coach with the Manitoba AAA Midget Hockey League’s Parkland Rangers.
