Forward Core Strengthened

DAUPHIN, MB – The Dauphin Kings strengthened their forward core Friday, adding 17 year old (1998) Brett Piper (6’1 175lbs) to the mix.

Last season Piper was in Kelowna where he took part in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League with the Pursuit of Excellence Hockey Academy. The Cartier, Manitoba product snagged 29 points (12G, 17A) in 31 contests in 2015-16.

“Adding Brett gives us a two way forward that understands the game. He’s a player that worries about his own end first, is reliable, hardworking and a team first guy” says Head Coach and GM Marc Berry.

“Brett’s character and passion for the game really impressed us when we met in Winnipeg earlier this summer.”

Dauphin Kings Fall Camp fires up on Thursday September 1st and ends with the club’s intrasquad game on Sunday September 4th. For details on Season Tickets and where to get them for the upcoming season CLICK HERE!

The Kings would like to welcome Brett and his family to the City of Sunshine!
