Dauphin’s Myhre Set To Join Kings

DAUPHIN, MB - He played 10 games with his home town team last season and now Dauphin's Luke Myhre is ready to take the next step as he's signed a Letter Of Intent with the Kings for the 2025-26 campaign.

Myhre, born in 2007, joined the Kings last year where he took part in 10 games stretching from mid October to mid December. After that he returned to the Prairie Hockey Academy (CSSHL U18) where in 11 tilts he notched three goals and seven assists. He then had a goal and an assist in four playoff contests.

In 2023-24 the forward picked up 12 goals and 10 assists in 29 games with the U18 Prep club.

"Luke is a big body player that skates well. He's somebody that needed a lot of puck touches in the second half of the season so he went back to the Prairie Hockey Academy for the remainder of the year last year and it was very good for him" said Kings Head Coach and General Manager Doug Hedley. "During his time in Dauphin last season there were some good flashes of his compete level. He played some good games and we wanted him to get some more consistency. He's excited and we're excited to have him join us for the upcoming year" Hedley added.
