DAUPHIN, MB - Quinten Fisk, Noah Smigelsky, Forrest Karlson and Sam Swanton officially combined for seven points to help the Dauphin Kings win their fourth straight, a 4-3 decision over the Winnipeg Blues Saturday night at Credit Union Place.

It didn't take Noah Smigelsky long to make an impact. Playing in his first game for his home town team the Dauphin product opened the scoring on the Power Play just past the midway point of the first period to give the Kings a 1-0 lead after 20.

Dauphin would slip up a bit after Smigelsky's goal. They'd fall behind 2-1 after 40 minutes and had just one shot in the middle frame.

In the third the Kings woke up. First it was Kale Pratte (11) evening up the score early in the frame. Then Sam Swanton (3) got the Kings the lead before the Blues tied it with just over seven minutes to play. But Fisk, the contest's first star, would grab the game winner with less than two minutes to go.

Hunter Bauer and Bryson Yaschyshyn split the win in net. Bauer came in at the midway point of the second. They combined for 36 saves on 39 shots. The Kings had 28 shots Saturday.

Both teams had one man advantage and both scored on theirs.

The Kings conclude their regular season with a record of 33-23-2-0, 68 points. They finish 2nd in the MJHL's West Division and will take on the 3rd place Waywayseecappo Wolverines in the opening round of the post season. The series will begin late next week.
