Dauphin Kings 3 Stars Of The Week

Even though he didn’t pick up any points in Winkler on Saturday Ian Briscoe still had a pretty good week.

In three earlier games during the week the Winnipeg product put up two goals and two assists to extend his point streak to eight games.

Since joining the Kings in January Briscoe has six goals and four assists. All those points came in his recent point streak. He’ll look to start another one this week.

DAUPHIN, MB – Four games in five nights for the Dauphin Kings last week and it all came to a close on Saturday night in Winkler.

When the dust settled after the weekend the Kings found themselves four points out of a playoff spot in the MJHL.

The Kings picked up a win early in the week over the Neepawa Natives, but couldn’t keep the ball rolling with losses to Wayway, Winnipeg and Winkler later on.

This week isn’t as busy for the Kings, but it will still see the club play three games. Two of the contests are on the road, starting with the OCN Blizzard on Tuesday and then the Virden Oil Capitals on Saturday. Dauphin returns to Credit Union Place on Sunday when they entertain the Selkirk Steelers. Start time is an early one, 6:00pm puck drop!

The Kings will name their Billet & Volunteer of the Month on Sunday as well!
