Bryan Kromm Joins Kings As Head Coach & GM
DAUPHIN, MB - The Dauphin Kings are pleased to announce the signing of their new Head Coach & General Manager Bryan Kromm.
Kromm joins the Kings after spending the past two seasons with the Trail Smoke Eaters in the BCHL. He was the team's Assistant General Manager, Associate Coach, and Director of Player & Skill Development. Before that, he was an Assistant Coach at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
"Growing up in Canada and going through junior hockey, Dauphin was always recognized as one of those historical programs with a winning track record. I think what excites me the most is being a part of a true hockey town where you are the biggest ticket every weekend. I’m looking forward to being a part of that community, embracing that small town culture, and giving back to a place that cares about their hockey team" said Kromm.
Bryan also played in the CSSHL, KIJHL and SIJHL. He then went on to play four seasons with the University of Jamestown.
"My goal as a coach is to move the players on to the highest level they can achieve. More importantly, I want to help build good people that contribute in meaningful ways to their community.
Hockey is a great way for players to learn important life skills that will bring them success in the future, and I will strive to make our players the best version of themselves every day" Kromm added.
He says he's looking to bring forward a strong brand of hockey to the City of Sunshine.
"On the ice, we will develop a high pace, exciting brand of hockey. Our players will compete every night with relentless effort and a team first mindset. It is my expectation that each individual makes an impact on the ice every shift. The ultimate goal is to make the team feel connected, and the fans feel energized. I want everyone to feel proud to put on the blue and white every night!"
